Whitney Webb’s research is meticulous, and Grace Noble’s narration is magnificent. The author takes you down the rabbit hole of lies and deception, and explains how business is truly conducted on a daily basis. The tentacles of blackmail and surveillance are explored including the power organized crime had over FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, and the ties between crime syndicates and intelligence.
Webb outlines how danger alliances spy on vulnerable subjects to control or manipulate, including many influential power brokers. As Webb demonstrates, these powerful entities will use any means necessary to blackmail their targets. The author brilliantly connects the dots, and presents the evidence of the nefarious behaviors prominent people engage in to gain wealth, influence, and power. As a source states in the book, “passports can be faked, and records forged.”
I strongly recommend this work, and eagerly await the second volume.
