Lee Ann Howlett

Award-Nominated Audiobook Narrator, who once enjoyed traveling around the world as an Air Force “brat”, has settled quite cozily with her family in Tampa, Florida. While living in France for a few years was exciting, her true inspiration in life has come from her love for the written word. She received a B.A. in English Literature and a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida. Enjoying a 30-year career as a university medical school librarian, Lee Ann evolved into publishing her own words, penning nonfiction articles for children in a variety of magazines (including Children’s Digest, Boys’ Quest, Hopscotch for Girls, and US Kids.)

Lee Ann began working as a narrator for Iambik Audio, narrating literary fiction and romance. She also serves as an administrator/narrator for “Voices of Today” and “The Online Stage.” Now, she enjoys narrating genres of all kinds and especially loves True Crime, Literary Fiction and Non-Fiction – Bios & Memoirs.

When not recording, Lee Ann can be found under a pile of yarn knitting and crocheting blankets, amigurumi for her nieces, and oodles of ‘squares’ for the nonprofit organization, Love Squared. Other fun pastimes include travel (especially cities!) going to estate sales, admiring her husband’s photography and other art, snuggling with her rescue dog – Cooper, binge watching British and Scandinavian movies/tv shows and driving her Mini Cooper – Mrs. Peel 2.0.
